Paving

Masonry paving is a horizontal surface laid with flat stones or brick pavers as well as cobblestone or concrete interlocking pavers.  Brick pavers are often laid in “fancy patterns” such as a basketweave or herringbone pattern.  Different shapes of flat stone pavers are often laid in a random Ashlar pattern.  Sometimes large dimensional stones that are trimmed, cut and drilled to a specific size or shape are used for paving.
